      More than a book

Don't listen to me, listen to them

Your book reached my home today. Have been looking at photos and reading your texts for hours. Everything have really touched my heart....
I'm sure you will have a bright future ahead of you, working with the people, and in the country, you love so much.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to buy this amazing book!

"Trenyuh" is a word in Javanese which equally means "moved", "happy" and "touched" to the depths of oneself. The self that we hide from the gaze of others. This is how I feel looking at the frames of your book.
It's like taking me home. It's as if I found my grandmother, my grandfather, my grandparents ... all the elders of my village that I love so much.
I know the village of Mojosongo in Boyolali where you took the photo of Mbah Warsinah. I had been there when I was in high school.
"Mbah" is also how I call my grandmother, and the elders of my village.
Thank you, thank you very much.

Hello Marius. Just a note to let you know that the book arrived yesterday. It is by far, the most elegant and wonderful thing I have ever had. The pictures captured on these pages that show true life feelings and emotions, amazing. Thank you for composing it. I thank God for your talent and gift. Take care my friend. And again, thanks.

Hi Marius ... received my copy of the book this morning and have just finished the first section of your journey. The quality of the book is amazing but what strikes one immediately is the deep connection you have clearly made with your subjects ... these are very interactive pictures and we are seeing inside people, not looking at them. Quite remarkable... The eyes are mesmerizing... wow! I am deliberately stopping here for today so I can give each section the attention it deserves. Best David
